Jason started playing the guitar at age of 11 and over the last four decades the instrument has been an extension of his mind, body and soul.  After touring extensively with various musical acts and sharing stages with musical icons such as The Beach Boys, Journey, and Boston, Jason completed a Bachelor of Composition and a Masters' in Musicology at Dalhousie University where he also became a guitar instructor.  

In 2014, though outwardly it seemed as though Jason was living the dream life, inwardly his life was unraveling.  Jason sought out Yoga and meditation as a way to cope with the chaos of the music industry.  Soon Jason was composing and performing music on his handmade classical guitar for Yoga classes.  This music became locally known as "the most relaxing guitar in the world" and he began distributing his music after demands from listeners to bring the serenity of his unique blend of guitar music into their lives.  Jason began studying healing music from around the world and incorporating it into his music.  Soon he founded "Guitarfulness" to share the music with the world in a quest to raise the vibration of his listeners journey and provide beautiful relief from the stresses of our modern planet.
